Finance Assistant Purchase Ledger
Salary £16-18k per annum depending on experience
This is an exciting opportunity for a Finance Assistant to join the busy team at St Aubyn Estates.
This role will be focussed on the purchase ledgers across the various business entities and have the following responsibilities:
Processing of invoices and daily banking information
Reconciliation of accounts
Input and preparation of wages (Sage Payroll system)
Involvement with the National Trust procurement system
Assisting with cash office, preparing change orders and cash handling
Other finance and administrative tasks as required
Because of the unique nature of our organisation, there will be opportunities for you to gain experience of a variety of roles within the finance team and get exposure to a wide range of different businesses.

We are a small team with a wide range of responsibilities. We are looking for someone who is excited to be involved with an iconic west Cornwall business, and is eager to learn and advance. A relevant finance background is desirable, although aptitude is as equally important. Experience in using computers, excel spreadsheets and accounting systems (preferably Sage) are all expected, but a willingness to learn is just as important.
The business is keen to support personal development of its employees, and financial support can be offered to assist with AAT qualifications if this is of interest.
